American Petroleum Institute (API)

The American Petroleum Institute (API) is an organization that represents all aspects of the oil and gas industry. For more than 85 years, the API has developed and maintained over 500 standards and recommended practices for petroleum and petrochemical equipment operations. Needless to say, they are at the forefront of ensuring safety for operators, customers, and the environment.*
